    Description

    A Senior Footwear Designer is required by a distinguished brand renowned for crafting luxury accessories and footwear.

    As a Senior Footwear Designer, you'll collaborate with the product development team and creative director to translate creative concepts into innovative footwear designs reflecting the brand's luxury ethos.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Closely work with the CD and PD to develop high-quality footwear collections.
    • Design annual men and lady golfers' lifestyle collections.
    • Produce key trend analysis, competitor strategies, and seasonal product plans.
    • Interact with the CD and Sales on product line plans, colour palettes, pricing, themes, graphics, and market strategies.
    • Stay informed about competitors' top sellers, technologies, styling, colors, strategies, and pricing.
    • Pursue innovation through fashion-forward designs and technologies suitable for the golf market.
    • Maintain a keen interest in sustainability within the footwear industry.
    • Develop detailed design specification packs for suppliers.
    • Oversee prototype and sample execution to reflect design concept and quality.
    • Collaborate with Tech and Product developers on sample look and feel.
    • Assist with designing an accessories range including limited edition apparel, belts, and leather goods.
    • Enhance brand recognition.
    • Participate in trade shows and comp shopping trips within Europe.
    • Perform other reasonable duties identified by the CD.

    Required Skills and Experience

    • Showcase strong design skills and trend forecasting in your portfolio.
    • Have 5+ years of experience in footwear and sneaker design.
    • Be proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, and 3D renderings.
    • Hold a degree-level qualification in a related design field.
    • Demonstrate a high level of technical understanding in footwear.
    • Display a keen interest in past and future trends, evolving footwear technologies, sole units, and footbed comfort.
    • Demonstrate excellent work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and manage busy creatives.
    • Exhibit excellent organisational skills and communication.
    • Show ability to see a product from concept to design.
    • Interest in golf is an advantage.
