    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead strategic projects for a leading financial institution. This role is based in Sandton with flexible hybrid work arrangements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, ensuring effective resource allocation, timelines, and cost management.
    • Implement Agile practices, driving Scrum/Kanban methodologies, and meeting project milestones.
    • Drive continuous improvement, identifying areas for optimization throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Manage project risks, issues, and changes, proactively resolving potential blockers.
    • Communicate effectively across all project stakeholders, providing regular updates and escalations as needed.
    • Maintain alignment with the broader strategic goals of the financial institution.

    Key Requirements:

    • Proven Project Management Experience: Successful delivery history within financial institutions.
    • Agile Expertise: Strong experience with Agile methodologies, guiding teams, and enforcing best practices.
    • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Payments, Cash, Microsoft Product Suite, Trading, and D365 systems.
    • Stakeholder Management: Experience managing diverse stakeholder expectations.
    • Excellent Communication Skills: Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
    • Problem-Solving & Risk Management: Proactive identification and management of risks and issues.

    Desirable Qualifications:

    • Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
    • Knowledge of financial regulations and industry standards.
