    Job Overview

    We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to develop and execute a strategic sales plan that drives growth of our retail footprint in Africa.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Leverage existing relationships with retail buyers to drive direct sales into major supermarkets and chains, securing high-value deals within the first 6 months.
    2. Negotiate and secure large-scale partnerships with national retailers, working closely with distributors and partners to optimize supply chain and sales operations.
    3. Identify new business opportunities and develop long-term relationships with key retail players across Africa.
    4. Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and sales forecasts to leadership, supporting informed decision-making.
    5. Travel extensively throughout Africa to establish and strengthen relationships with retailers and distributors.

    The Ideal Candidate

    1. Must possess at least 5 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of securing retail partnerships and selling directly to retailers in Africa within the past year.
    2. Strong existing contacts with buyers at major retailers across Africa, including mass-market distribution expertise within large chains and supermarkets.
    3. Ability to negotiate and close large deals with major retailers, coupled with a willingness to travel frequently throughout Africa.
    4. Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently in a flexible environment.
