The Retail Claims Administrator role in Johannesburg is instrumental in meticulously reviewing and efficiently processing Retail claims, ensuring accuracy and validity of documentation.

With 2 years of experience in a Finance department, potential claims exposure, and a foundational grasp of account reconciliations, you will contribute to financial integrity.

Responsibilities include maintaining the claims register, collaborating across departments, and fostering store relationships. Requirements encompass essential math-focused matriculation, financial education, intermediate MS Word/Excel skills, customer-focused service delivery, and effective time management. This role is pivotal in maintaining operational excellence through precise claims management.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the claims register
  • Manage and process Retail claims
  • Obtain and update necessary information/documents
  • Complete credit document requests in line with company protocols
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve claims and queries
  • Match claims with credit notes
  • Foster productive relationships with stores

Requirements:


  • Matric with mathematics is essential.
  • Any tertiary education or qualification within the financial field
  • 2 years of experience in a busy Finance department
  • Prior claims experience is advantageous
  • Basic understanding of account reconciliations
  • Able to work well under pressure and achieve monthly targets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong numerical aptitude for accurate calculations
  • Intermediate computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Customerfocused with exceptional service delivery
  • Detailoriented and financefocused
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills

Salary:
R9,000.00 per month
