    Description

    Senior Business Developer

    We are seeking a Senior Business Developer to lead renewable projects from origination to financial close, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Identify and manage private Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) opportunities within the renewable sector.
    2. Negotiate and prepare bids for tender opportunities.
    3. Pursue new business opportunities within the renewable sector.
    4. Conduct due diligence on project acquisitions.
    5. Engage with potential off-takers for private PPA opportunities.
    6. Prepare and present project documentation to secure funding.
    7. Oversee project development from inception to financial close.
    8. Analyse project risk allocation and negotiate key agreements.

    Requirements:

    1. Degree in Engineering, Finance or Economics.
    2. MBA is advantageous.
    3. 5-7 years of experience in renewable energy and 4+ years in business development.
    4. Experience bringing projects to financial close.
    5. Knowledge of key agreements including PPAs, partnership agreements, and shareholder agreements.
