    This career opportunity is available at Santam Specialist Business: Santam Heavy Haulage for Insurance Consultant, who will be based in Sandton.

    General policy administration of commercial business includes quoting, issuing new policies and amendments. Dealing with general enquiries and providing support to management and team. Underwriting criteria are adhered to, profiling clients for suitable products.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Policy administration on Policy Center.
    • Assisting with general queries.
    • Confirming cover.
    • Supporting team members.
    • Mandated payment requisitions.
    • Liaising with brokers, claims, finance and other parties involved in underwriting.
    • BUILDING PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIPS WITH STAKEHOLDERS.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Matric/ Grade 12 qualification.
    • Fully computer literate (MS Office).
    • A relevant insurance qualification (e.g. NQF lev 5) would be advantageous.
    • Minimum 2 years' experience in short term insurance commercial lines and/or heavy commercial vehicles.
    • FAIS Compliance (Personal Lines / Commercial Lines) preferred.
