Responsibilities
- Assist with the hiring of new staff in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager.
- Communicate daily with the RSM regarding the store and stock updates
- Ensure all staff completes duties as required
- Motivate and guide your team.
- Ensure POS system is operated correctly
- Receiving, unpacking and arranging new shipments from suppliers and vendors
- Arranging and labelling goods in the display shelves
- Assisting customers in finding the products they are looking for
- Processing customer payments
- Addressing customer queries.
- Providing shopping advice and recommendations to customers
- Cleaning and rearranging the store
- Pricing, labelling and barcoding when needed
- Work with team members to keep the sales floor neat and organised
Requirements and skills
- Knowledge of retail & the Burnt brand
- Must have store manager experience
- Outstanding communication and management abilities
- Excellent organizing skills
- Commercial awareness
- Knowledge of retail management software (e.g. Dear, Shopify POS etc) is beneficial.
- Must be based in Cape Town
- Own transport to the store is required
- Very competitive salary
- Full time managers ONLY. No part time roles available.
