General Summary:


Your primary role is retaining and supporting the customer base and developing new business to increase the customer base of Spec Systems, ensuring maximum profitability for shareholders and a positive, motivated environment for staff and customers.


DETAILS OF FUNCTION:


  • Complete sales admin processes including, costing and quotes, the supply of information required for artwork and part number creation, order capture when required, customer queries and feedback and communications to internal stakeholders.
  • Assist Sales Manager in the communication of stock level requirements on shelf stock levels for stocked items, such as converted ribbon, printers etc. in line with Min/Max policies.
  • Assist debtor clerk on request, to intervene and ensure debtors days are no higher than 4
  • Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with assigned customers in the branch to assist in account retention and growth.
  • Identify key prospective customers based on size and strategic benefit with the aim of growing the customer base and achieving growth, sales and profitability targets.
  • Identifying trends and contribute through regular feedback to update market share analysis.
  • Regularly communicate with the Customer service team to ensure orders are recorded and captured accurately and on time.
  • Planners are analyzed daily and correct information is communicated to the customer and other departments.
  • Adhere to ISO standards and Health and safety regulations, with the ultimate goal of maximizing customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct yourself in an ethical, disciplined, quality focused, productive and positive manner.
  • Contribute to a culture of teamwork across all departments.
  • Report on personal Sales activities and results.
  • Any other duties requested by management.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving;
  • Ability to determine solutions for customers.
  • Must be results orientated and be able to work under pressure within a team environment.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experienced in prospecting, customer account management and negotiation is essential.
  • A valid driver's license and own transport is required.
  • A positive, confident and determined approach
  • Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection
  • A high degree of selfmotivation and ambition

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Cape Town,

Western Cape:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)


Education:


  • Bachelors (preferred)
