    Job Description

    Role and Responsibilities

    To ensure that learners are trained, assessed, and certified as competent in relevant Unit Standards by meeting KBC requirements.

    • Assist with registration process and documentation.
    • Evaluate and ensure the availability of training materials, stationery, and equipment prior to training sessions.
    • Create a positive learning environment that stimulates learning and motivates delegates.
    • Facilitate programs according to KBC facilitation best practices and self-prepared program enhancements/lesson plans.
    • Ensure delegates understand assessment questions and how to complete assessments.
    • Conduct assessments.
    • Perform moderation.
    • Review and report course evaluations.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    Matric certificate required.

    • Relevant facilitation experience: Forklift 242974, Overhead Crane 242976, Rigging & Slinging 15706, Working at Height 22998, Scaffold Erectors & Inspectors 263205, Confined Space 15034, TMM 254577, Hand Tools 258957, Power Tools 10255, Manual Handling 119568, Rescue at Heights 22995, Fall Protection Planner 229994, Fire Fighting 252250, First Aid 119567.
    • Valid accreditation as moderator and assessor with Merseta, TETA, CETA, HWSeta.
    • Safety qualification or studying towards an advantage.
    • Valid passport.
