- Monitor and chase overdue invoices to ensure timely payment from customers.
- Communicate effectively with customers to resolve payment issues and maintain positive relationships.
- Reconcile customer accounts and process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with credit checks on new customers to ensure their creditworthiness.
- Update and maintain accurate records of customer details and payment information.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer queries and disputes.
- Provide regular reports on accounts receivable status to management.
- Previous experience in a finance or credit control role is highly desirable.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive and positive attitude towards problem-solving.
