Join a leading company specialising in frozen treats as a Logistics Lead and be at the forefront of modern distribution operations.

They are seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for technology, strong analytical skills and 0-1 years of experience in logistics planning or related fields.

This is a permanent position based full-time in Cape Town.

Responsibilities:

Utilise technology to manage stock accuracy and availability across multiple distribution centres.
Employ datadriven approaches to plan efficient routes for directtocustomer and retail orders across all regions.
Take charge of managing both inhouse and thirdparty delivery partners, optimising for customer service and costeffectiveness.
Oversee the seamless execution of new store launches and merchandising requests through the delivery team.
Maintain freezer asset inventory, ensuring availability and handling maintenance requests.
Track and improve perfect order fulfilment, continuously enhancing customer service.
Lead and manage a team of 3 delivery drivers and merchandisers.
Coordinate warehouse operations, maximising efficiency in storage, handling, and distribution.
Implement best practices for inventory control to minimise stockouts and excess inventory.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations about distribution and transportation.
Foster a safe working environment for all employees by establishing and enforcing safety protocols and practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, quality assurance, engineering, or a related field.
An understanding of distribution strategies, supply chain management and inventory control.
Techsavvy mindset, comfortable using distribution software and systems for shipment tracking and management.
Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to make datadriven decisions.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic business environment and handle pressure gracefully.
