Description

Based in our Cape Town offices and reporting to the IT Manager - Africa, you will be a key contributor to the IT Team, with a role in Network and System Administration, Cyber Security and IP Protection.

The tasks you'll perform

Maintain and improve Lycopodium's IT network, ensuring a high availability and secure framework for which to communicate and share data.
Ensure that Lycopodium's IT environment has industry best practice mechanisms for cyber security and IP protection.
Provide support and coverage to IT Manager Africa.
Actively promoting the corporate shared service IT functions to all businesses within the Lycopodium Group.

The expertise you'll bring
-
_ A minimum of 2 years in a similar role and minimum of 10 years in Information Technology roles

_ Information Technology Degree or similar

_ Demonstrable experience working with networks including cloud access, VPN, Wi-Fi, telecommunications and network related security

_Demonstrable experience working with security products such as mail, web, endpoint, identity, mobile devices, multifactor, SIEM & Log management software

Build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors and coworkers.
Exemplify and encourage the core values and ethos of the business.
High attention to detail and exceptional knowledge of information technology hardware and platforms for both on premise and cloud environments.
Ability to work effectively with mínimal supervision whilst consistently producing a high quality of deliverables.

Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with colleagues across all business units.
