Description
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- B Com (Hons) in Accountancy
- Registration as a Chartered Accountant CA (SA)
- Relevant experience in manufacturing accounting will be added advantage
Knowledge and Skills:
- Business and Commercial Acumen
- Relevant legislation (inclusive of Tax and IFRS)
- Budgeting and financial management
- Governance, Risk and Compliance
- Standard Costing principles
- Asset management
- Project Management
- ERP software knowledge
To provide leadership and strategic direction to the Finance Department in respect of financial
planning, reporting, systems, policies, procedures, effective allocation of resources and ensure
compliance to relevant legislation, governance and best practice.
Main Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Provide leadership and strategic direction to the Finance Department, direct the day to day
- Develop and maintain appropriate financial and internal control systems for the Company,
- Compile, submit and manage the budget and forecasts in support of the strategic
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, International Financial Reporting Standards
- Use key performance metrics to drive quality standards and continuous improvement
- Provide expert advice to EXCO on financial matters.
