    Job Description:

    A well-established group of companies is seeking a Group Financial Manager to contribute to the strategic direction and long-term financial viability of the organisation and its subsidiaries.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead a team to deliver services, ensuring the long-term financial viability of the organisation and its subsidiaries.
    • Keep the Group Financial Director and Group CEO apprised of all financial developments, potential risks, and changes.
    • Plan and execute key financial projects as directed.
    • Conduct research, analyse information, and conclude on findings.
    • Implement the finance strategy across subsidiaries, advising on financial implications of proposed actions.

    Financial Management:

    • Analyse financial information received from subsidiaries.
    • Develop and maintain financial models, controls, and documentation.
    • Work with the Group Financial Director and Group CEO to ensure embedded financial controls within the organisation and its subsidiary companies.

    Risk Management and Compliance:

    • Manage risk through collaboration with the Group Financial Director and Group CEO.
    • Ensure adherence to relevant legislation, policies, procedures, and guidelines both internal and external.

    Leadership and Development:

    • Manage, mentor, coach, and develop staff reporting to you.
    • Deliver training, recruitment, induction, performance monitoring, absence management, and performance reviews.

    Communication and Representation:

    • Provide reports and briefings as required.
    • Represent the group and its subsidiaries externally in relation to finance issues.

    Requirements:

    • Proven knowledge of financial analysis, financial systems, and strategy.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
    • In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and industry legislation.
    • Strong analytical, interpersonal, negotiation, and integrity skills.
    • 5-10 years of experience in a similar role.
