Camp Counsellor | Facilitator for Teen Camp at Camp Genesis

Position Overview:

Camp Genesis is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated facilitators aged 19-30 for our teen camps in Cape Town, South Africa.

As facilitators, you'll create a positive experience by leading activities, fostering growth, and promoting a safe camp environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead diverse camp activities, workshops, and discussions aligned with camp goals.

Foster a supportive atmosphere for teens to express themselves and grow.

Collaborate with the Camp Director to develop engaging programming.

Provide mentorship, promoting teamwork and self-discovery.

Ensure camper safety, following camp policies.

Create an inclusive environment valuing diversity.

Manage group dynamics and conflicts constructively.

Support campers in overcoming challenges and boosting self-confidence.

Qualifications:
Aged 19-30.

Matric qualification.

Passion for teen development.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to engage and create a positive camp experience.

Flexibility and collaboration skills.

Problem-solving abilities.

Camp counseling or youth development experience preferred.

First aid and CPR certification is a plus.

No criminal record.
