Description

Purpose of the position

  • Sales Supervisor to drive and lead a team of sales agents, in meeting all required sales targets.
  • Ensure that sales and targets are maximised whilst ensuring that we adhere to company policy and procedure.

Key Performance Areas

  • Understanding the department strategy to ensure effective sales/administration
  • To ensure telemarketers pursue sales by members that are in good standing on their account
  • To ensure sales are maximised and to minimise cancellations after sales process
  • To ensure no miss representation in selling of packages
  • To ensure Debit Orders are filled in correctly before submitting
  • To ensure contracts are built up timeously
  • Ensuring all company policies and procedures are adhered to Ensuring that the telemarketers are fully trained at all times Enable team success and the ability to work independently
  • Listening to telemarketers calls and retrain If necessary and reiterating the focus line "sales", systems and processes
  • Extracting Stella Nova's and ensuring the telemarketers are on the phone for a minimum of 3 hours daily
  • Confirming the sale via a button up call and the ability to handle irate and difficult members
  • Daily, weekly, monthly Audits on the sales, scripts to be formulated and followed
  • Ensuring monthly performance/absenteeism evaluations done and probationary evaluations done for new staff
  • Managing and ensuring each telemarketer has met their target, hence meeting your target for your team

Competencies Required

  • Accuracy
  • Accountability, must be able to work under pressure. Good telephone etiquette
  • Ability to work independently
  • Be able to communicate at all levels

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in telemarketing.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory capacity. Matric.
  • Above average computer and administrative skills (MS Office).
