Medical Receptionist, Cardiology (HALF DAY) Cape Town, Southern Suburbs


A busy cardiology practice in the southern suburbs is seeking to recruit a well presented and experienced medical receptionist on a half day basis.


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Meet and greet patients in a warm and friendly manner
  • Register new patients and capture insurance information
  • Register patients with medical aids for chronic illness
  • Handle appointment cancellations and rescheduling as needed
  • Respond to inquiries from patients, families, and other healthcare providers with professionalism and courtesy
  • Relay messages accurately and in a timely manner
  • Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing, and maintaining the office
  • Taking payments from patients

Qualification:


  • Matric
  • At least 2 years experience in a similar medical receptionist position
  • Experience within a cardiology environment will be an advantage
  • Medical software experience will be an advantage
