OPERATOR CABLE REELER, B UPPER:
SERITI POWER, MIDDELBURG MINE SERVICES, MPUMALANGA**
EXTERNAL ONLY

The role:

The purpose of this role is to safely execute maintenance work according to prescribed standards.

The duties will include but are not limited to:

Transport cable to the areas where it is needed
Layout cable lengths that are required
Put the cable couplings on the stands
Assist with the joining of the coupling
Put demarcations next to the stands
Assist with the cable when the dragline walks to the other planned areas
Put cable over the high wall for dragline ways
Roll up damaged cables to be repaired
Inspect the cable drums for damages
Comply to business code of conduct
Adhere to any new or revised documentation considering HSE and operational requirements in accordance with the management of change process
Do preuse inspection

You will need:

Grade 1
Valid Driver's License
Cable Reeler License / Certificate of Competency
In possession of or able to obtain a valid Certificate of Fitness
Subject to a Dover test and must meet the minimum requirements
Demonstrate oral English language proficiency
