    Job Description:

    A permanent position based onsite in Sandton is available at a premier property development firm.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial and tax reporting while ensuring effective accounting and reporting controls.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Managing and maintaining precise financial and tax reporting for fund management activities.
    2. Overseeing group reporting, taxation, and consolidation processes.
    3. Implementing and managing accounting controls to ensure compliance with industry standards.

    Qualifications

    1. Bachelor of Commerce Honours or Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting (B. Com).
    2. Articles of Clerkship will be advantageous.
    3. Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a senior accounting/reporting role, particularly in fund management.
    4. Staff management experience will be advantageous.

    Knowledge and Skills

    1. Extensive proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    2. Experience with accounting software such as CaseWare and Draftworx.
    3. Cognos experience will be advantageous.

    Working Environment

    Sandton-based.
