Funding Executive - City of Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa - CA Financial Appointments
Description
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate connections with new funding investors and sustain and enhance existing relationships as needed.
- Conduct regular "road shows" and investor presentations with the aim of securing funding in accordance with specific goals.
- Oversee the preparation of all necessary information for potential funders, including managing due diligence needs.
- Maintain precise records of all funding necessities for the Group by engaging regularly with Executive Management. This involves creating and updating financial models.
- Ensure the accuracy and currency of general investor materials, such as fact sheets, company brochures, prospectuses, authentically represent the Group's standing.
Requirements:
- 10 years relevant working experience.
- CFA, MBA, CA(SA) or other suitable academic qualification is essential.
- Ideally from a boutique Corporate Finance/Advisory Firm or an audit firm on the advisory side
- Experience and ability to understand and undertake financial modeling, and the preparation of necessary information and documentation.
- Experience in fund raising for the microfinance industry will be advantageous.
- An excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
- Established negotiation skills and strong presentation skills
Further requirements:
- Must be willing to travel within Africa and Internationally.
