Investment Portfolio Analyst
R350k-R550k per annum depending on experience highly negotiable

Financial company seeks Investment Portfolio Analyst with minimum of - 5 years' experience within the roll.

Generation, interpretation and analysis of various analysis which would be useful to the Portfolio Managers
Client report back presentation generation and checking.
Communication with clients and responding to report queries.
Monthly and quarterly analysis and preparation of data
Data interrogation and analysis
Understand market risks and tools and systems used.
Monitoring of investment managers held in company products.
Client and internal report generation.
Checking reports generated by other analysts.
Interpretation and analysis of report results

Understanding of Macroeconomics

Portfolio construction and manager research experience beneficial

Attention to detail,

Understanding of key risk, performance and attribution concepts

Safeguard client data

Strong passion for investments

Willing to work long hours and must be a team player.

Flexibly and adaptably to ensure delivery of outputs to ensure that high quality standard is maintained.

Computer Packages:
Morningstar, Bloomberg, FactSet and Python, Matlab advantageous

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree which can be FAIS recognized, B.Com, B.Bus.
Sci (Maths, Accounting, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, Physics) or equivalent.

Salary:
R30 000,00 - R45 000,00 per year
