Role Purpose
To provide an effective and efficient administrative and operational task function to support the team.


Requirements:


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Matric is essential (with Biology preferred)
  • Medical Claims Assessing Course Certification is an added advantage

EXPERIENCE

  • 25 years Health Operational experience inclusive of Managed care exposure is essential
  • Experience in Health Risk Management queries would be an advantage
  • Project administration experience is preferred

ATTRIBUTES

  • A good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
  • Welldeveloped communication skills (both Written & Verbal)
  • Proven technical ability
  • Sound analytical and problem solving skills

Duties & Responsibilities

DEVELOP AN UNDERSTANDING OF INTERNAL ENVIRONMENT IN LINE WITH BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS

INTERNAL PROCESSES_**•Pro-actively screen incoming calls, correspondence and respond independently where possible

  • Collaborate in supporting two-way communication between various internal and external stakeholders
  • Loading of reporting requirements; following the Jira processes for requests and supporting the team with proactive report trawling processes
  • Reviewing of data and correlation to the Oracle system for simple data verification requirements
  • Perform an efficient and accurate administrative function
  • Documentation of discussion point and project planning the Team deliverables and monitoring of teams tasks and activities
  • Identify and escalate priority issues
  • Support with the managing of calendars and effectively schedule appointments and set up of meetings
  • Deal promptly with client requests in a competent, efficient and professional manner
  • Drive and support effective teamwork within the department
  • Engage in appropriate training interventions to promote own professional development
  • Ensure to demonstrate the company's values on a daily basis
  • Participation in the planning and logistics of events / project relating to the department
  • Assist with general administration functions in relation to the broader Operations department
  • Understands how the business operations, what the key issues and risks are that drives business success; and how they impact on the commercial viability of the potential ventures and the profitability of the Group
  • Anticipates, meets and exceeds Client's needs by creating long lasting relationships that support the Client value proposition, supports their financial wellness and ensures client centricity

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Deliver on service level agreements applicable to clients and internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure that client expectations are managed
