Job Description:
Purpose of the Role:
The Payroll Manager IMETA will be responsible for:
- Managing a team of Payroll Administrators within the IMETA Region to deliver timely and accurate payrolls in several Middle East and African countries.
- Meeting deadlines whilst managing and supporting the team through their daily activities and development.
- Ensuring continuous improvement with payroll systems and processes.
- Completed a relevant 3year Tertiary Qualification
- 8+ years' Payroll experience, of which 3+ years should have been within a Leadership / Manager role
- Proven experience in processing multicountry payrolls
- Experience with ADP Globalview and/or SAP preferred
Key Accountabilities:
- Day to day management and administration of payrolls through the ADP payroll system.
- Management of Statutory payments and reporting.
- Year End reporting, including directors emoluments
- Half Year End reporting
- Vendor management including any integration with new systems and vendors.
- To meet all statutory and business compliance.
- Develop and uphold robust controls to meet statutory and business compliance requirements and put in place processes to imbed them
- Ensure the support and deliverables provided by the team are aligned with local and global organizational objectives.
- Ensure metrics, SLA compliance and reporting demonstrate exceptional service.
- Ensure that segregation of duties and data protection standards are met
- Lead, manage, and develop payroll team membersStay up to date on trends, development, compliance and legislative changes impacting Payroll within the region
- Ensure robust Business Continuity Plan, including risk management, service recovery strategies and maintenance of up to date knowledge base, case triage criteria and job aids
- Investigate and correct any errors due to system or process issues.
- Manage the maintenance of the ADP Payroll system monthly reviews, ADP service portal ticketing
- Work with internal and external audit teams to ensure system and processes meet best practice.
- Ex-Pat Payroll management
- Stock Options Management
- Share Scheme Management.
- Benefit Administration as relating to Payroll.
- Carrying out regular checks and audits to ensure internal compliance.
- Working with the Kronos system interfaces
- Working with the Workday (HRIS) system interface
Degree and equivalent
Preferred Level of Work Experience
- 5 years
