    **Warehouse Supervisor Overview**

    The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all receiving, put-away, picking, dispatch, and stock controlling activities within the warehouse.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehousing and stock control practices, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Receiving:
      • Supervise and coordinate all receiving activities to ensure accurate and efficient processing of shipments.
      • Off-load trucks/containers and ensure proper documentation.
      • Operate Forklift/Reach Truck safely and efficiently.
    • Put-Away:
      • Supervise and coordinate all put-away activities to ensure accurate and efficient storage of inventory.
      • Moving of stock to pre-decided bin locations.
      • Grouping stock by account type and product type.
      • Verify physical stock bin location against BluYonde bin location.
    • Picking:
      • Supervise and coordinate all picking activities to ensure accurate and efficient selection of inventory.
      • Moving of stock to pick or setup location.
      • Stock picked from picking slip provided.
      • Stock picked from bin locations provided.
      • Seal and secure picked stock for dispatch.
    • Dispatch:
      • Supervise and coordinate all dispatch activities to ensure accurate and efficient loading of trucks/containers.
      • Loading of trucks/containers.
      • Ensure proper sealing and documentation of containers.
      • Physical stock matches GDV/GDN/INV.
      • Pictures taken of pallets packed and dunnage bags used.
    • Stock Controlling:
      • Responsible for supervising and managing sound stock control practices and principles throughout the Warehouse.
    • Adhoc:
      • Conduct daily housekeeping and adhere to Health and Safety protocols.
      • Perform any other task related to the warehouse within limitations.

      Requirements:

      • Matric or Senior Certification equivalent.
      • A minimum of 3 years experience in Warehousing.
      • Good knowledge of Warehousing and Stock Control practices.
      • Good knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety legislation.
