PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The Kawari GM & Responsible Pharmacist is responsible for leading the short
- and long-term strategic direction of Kawari by providing vision and leadership, with focus on compliance, operations, premises maintenance, projects take

Ons.

The incumbent must have extensive knowledge of the different regulatory bodies that govern the pharmaceutical industry and applicable laws, regulations and legislation. The incumbent is required to ensure that Kawari remains complaint to all legal and regulatory requirements.

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 10 years' experience within the pharmaceutical industry, coupled with a strategic outlook and specific focus on GWP

Advanced Computer Skills

Managing large operations, high risk environment

More than 5 Years Senior Management experience (e.g., management of senior managers and specialists) in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and or Wholesale and Distribution

Knowledge of Good Warehouse Practice (GWP) and Good Pharmacy Practice 9GPP)

Minimum 2 years Courier Pharmacy and or Courier Wholesaler experience

Advanced stock taking experience

Proven Industry knowledge (e.g., Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Animal Health, Medical Schemes, etc.)

Sound knowledge of Industry Pricing Models and Strategies

Advanced skills in MS Office and Professional Accounting Software

Knowledge of the complete value chain of the Pharmaceutical Industry
Interaction with all outside stake holders
Knowledge of the Medipost Holdings, as well as Kawari Wholesaler strategic plans and the implementation of the Kawari Wholesaler strategic plan
Personal understanding of a Customer Centric approach, as well as understanding Proper Patient Care as part of the Medipost Holdings business focus
Ability to accept and take charge of projects allocated on short notice with strict timelines / deadlines
Main responsibility of the Kawari Wholesaler Responsible Pharmacist role is to always ensure compliance to GWDP (Good Warehousing and Distribution Practices) and GPP (Good Pharmaceutical Practices)
