    Description

    You will be part of a team responsible for maintaining the back-end of our Telematics Platform. Using Scrum Agile methodology, you will be tasked with developing and enhancing existing functionality within the system. Day-to-day tasks include participating in daily standup sessions, writing software in C# and C, reviewing code, testing your own code and sometimes your team members', deploying new features and improved features to production, and collaborating with other teams.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Ensure that software is thoroughly tested according to best practice criteria.
    2. Complete work orders within specified timelines.
    3. Maintain systems without introducing new defects.
    4. Enhance systems to support adoption of new technologies.
    5. Share knowledge with development and support teams.
    6. Document systems, including enhancements, to facilitate knowledge sharing.
    7. Mentor and coach Junior Developers.
    8. Pursue personal training and development aligned with job requirements.
    9. Foster adherence to best practice development processes and standards.
    10. Effectively utilize development toolset.

    Requirements

    1. Relevant degree or diploma required or equivalent real-world experience.
    2. A minimum of 4 years relevant work experience is necessary.
    3. Experience with MS Team Foundation Server (TFS) would be beneficial.
    4. Strong expertise in writing back-end software using C and C#, targeting .NET Core, .NET 6/7.
    5. Proficiency in SQL, relational database design, stored procedures, complex and efficient queries.
    6. Experience developing high-performance and scalable systems.
    7. Experience with RabbitMQ or similar would be advantageous.
    8. Familiarity with Micro Services, OOP, SOA, SOLID, KISS, TDD, DDD patterns and practices is highly desirable.
