    Description

    MANCOSA is a registered private higher education institution providing distance education. We have an opening for an Admissions and Selections Academic in Durban.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Resolve application queries from various regions, including Honoris Education Network and SADC areas.
    • Review applications according to the Admissions and Selections SOP, Checklist, and Policy.
    • Manage applications through our Management Information System.
    • Evaluate candidates eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), alternative programs, and credit exemptions.
    • Develop and deliver training on admissions and selections procedures.
    • Create high-quality PowerPoint presentations for training purposes.

    Requirements

    • Masters degree or studying towards one.
    • At least 2 years of experience in an academic role with tight deadlines and process-driven work.

    Essential Skills

    • Effective communication and writing skills.
    • Strong understanding of regulatory bodies (e.g. SAQA, DHET, CHE) within the Higher Education landscape.
    • Advanced research skills and proficiency in MS Office.
