Our client, the award-winning Jordan Wine Estate based in Stellenbosch, is eager to appoint a passionate and dynamic National Sales Manager with exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.

The main function of the National Sales Manager is to build long-term relationships between Jordan and its customers to enable more wine to be sold.

This will require the individual to work nationally in South Africa as the Jordan Sales Manager, promoting the brand and managing all sales in the trade industry.


Duties will include:
*Visit customers to service and grow the existing on
- and off-consumption customer base *Manage sales agents in the various regions within South Africa to increase listings of wines produced by Jordan *Budget and Targets Management for the full sales and marketing team and agents *Drive the national sales strategy to ensure sales volume growth *Trade visits to existing national retailers, buyers and sellers of Jordan Wines *Monthly reporting to the CEO on team performance *Stakeholder liaison including but not limited to media releases, attending of wine shows, expo's, trade fairs etc. *Manage the roll-out of in store promotions, sponsorships and other marketing initiatives as planned *Extensive travelling to various regions within RSA to ensure optimal sales strategy alignment *Present wine tastings for exclusive wine events, wine functions and other Jordan related events *all other tasks related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Matric required, a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous;
  • Minimum of 35 years' relevant working experience with Wine Sales;
  • Excellent verbal & written skills (English and Afrikaans);
  • Excellent computer literacy (MS Office).
