Are you a meticulous finance professional with expertise in financial analysis and reporting? Stonechat Search is seeking a Finance/Reporting Controller in Cape Town on behalf of our innovative property development client.

In this role, you'll play a vital role in analysing financial feasibilities, managing cash flow, and overseeing operational aspects across various projects and departments.

• Conduct financial analysis on project feasibilities, profit returns, and cost efficiencies.
• Oversee cash flow management, including tracking, forecasting, and budget monitoring.
• Manage project bank draws, VAT submissions, and revenue tracking.
• Provide oversight on audit management, trial balances, and accounting system enhancements.
• Develop and implement innovative reporting systems to effectively communicate financial data.
• Compile comprehensive reporting packs for leadership, management, and shareholders.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within construction, property, urbanplanning related industries.
• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting plus additional accounting qualification preferred.
• Proficiency in Xero and Syft accounting software.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with the Microsoft 365 suite.
• Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic, fastpaced environment.
