Staying informed about industry best practices is crucial to ensure processes align with trends, legislation, and strategic goals, ensuring Belgotex's sustainability.
- Reporting: Tracking KPIs, analyzing performance, and implementing corrective actions. Collaborating with the Commercial team to develop action plans for sales growth, margins, and revenue, while using continuous improvement processes (IGP) to optimize output. All meetings and project updates must be accurately recorded in CRM.
- Grade 12 / Matric with mathematics or math's literacy.
- At least 3-5 years relevant sales experience in a similar role within a relevant industry is essential.
- You must be comfortable with a lot of things going on at any one time and able to communicate with a wide variety of people.
- Experience working in a CRM system and Microsoft packages is essential.
- Excellent time management skills to execute our daily tasks.
- Ability to plan and organize your priorities and calendar.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to converse at all levels but especially strong and effective in digital and online communication platforms.

Belgotex is Africa's leading carpet and artificial grass manufacturer. We design, make, and distribute high-quality broadloom and modular carpets with custom solutions available to the commercial market. Our extensive product portfolio includes luxury and specialist vinyls and artificial grass.

Purpose of this role:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is primarily responsible for pursuing major project sales, spending most of the time in the field with current and potential clients. The role involves securing projects, corporate accounts, and new business by offering distinct services to stakeholders. The BDM may also assist Specification Business Developers with sales through field appointments. The main focus is to grow the client base by adding new annuities. Weekly attendance at WIP meetings is also required.
