    Job Description:
  • Maintaining and ensuring a healthy environment, safe practices, ensuring compliance with all applicable SHE policies and procedures in line with set Kumba standards.
  • Implementing standardised Anglo-American Talent Management processes, frameworks and policies for sourcing, deploying, developing and retaining key talent, to sustain Kumba's business and growth strategy.
  • Overseeing adherence to sourcing methods and talent management standards and priorities, to ensure proper governance, compliance to statutory requirements and alignment to Anglo American targets...
  • Executing talent pipeline development, succession planning and workforce planning, talent acquisition, assessments, deployment, fast tracking and learning, to determine overall strategic talent needs.
  • Providing guidance and facilitating mentorship and coaching opportunities to employees looking to develop specific skills or expertise.
  • Recommending and implementing development programmes as a foundation for the progression of Kumba talent.
  • Recommending and incorporating cost saving initiatives into budgets and controls expenditure within approved parameters.
  • Managing subordinates' key performance areas.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor for the Operations on operational and tactical talent management matters.
  • Supporting the advancement of talent management practices in Kumba through keeping abreast of talent trends, conducting market analysis, networking, and international and local benchmarking.
  • Qualifications:
  • B-Degree (Hons) in Human Resources (Prescribed)
  • Master's Degree (Preferred)
  • HPCSA: Industrial Psychologist
  • SA Drivers License: Code B (Light Vehicle)
  • Experience:

  • Advanced operational experience in Talent and Capability management/development, Organisational Effectiveness, Culture and Performance Management.
  • Principles of how operational processes are classified according to the Operating Model with a focus on Work Management.
  • Project management fundamentals.
  • New technologies and their impact on operational activities within scope of role.
  • Leadership tools for implementing a culture of purpose–led, high performance and change.
