    **Senior Product Manager**

    About the Role

    The ideal candidate will manage, steer and implement effective product development and user experience processes, create, manage and deliver on the product strategies, product roadmap and backlog. Ensure the profitability and sustainability of the product portfolio.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Product Roadmap Development: Develop and maintain product roadmaps for assigned product portfolio.
    • Project Oversight: Oversee product enhancement projects and new initiatives in line with UX and design thinking principles.
    • Requirements Definition: Define product business requirements and specifications.
    • Backlog Management: Build and manage the product backlog in line with roadmaps and provide clear guidelines to the delivery team.
    • Value Proposition: Defining and maintaining the product value proposition.
    • Reporting: Provide appropriate management reporting.
    • Product Library: Contribute to the implementation of an effective product library, document storage.
    • Operational Support: Ensure effective operational product support agreements in place with the Senior ICT Operations Manager.

    Profitability and Sustainability

    • Pricing Solutions: Contribute to sustainable pricing solutions.
    • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the overall strategic planning of assigned product portfolio.

    Market and Trend Analysis

    • Audience Identification: Identify correct audience for current and new product initiatives.
    • New Opportunities: Identify new opportunities, markets and needs.
    • Legislative Requirements: Identify legislative requirements impacting on products and current markets/clients.
    • Industry Developments: Identify industry developments that may impact on current markets and products.
    • Trend Monitoring: Monitor trends in current customer markets.

    Risk Management

    • Risk Identification: Identify and report on potential risks to current products, markets and/or environments.
    • Competitor Markets: Identify potential competitor markets.
    • Mandate Compliance: Operate within agreed mandates.

    Requirements

    • Candidate Profile: Business Related Bachelor's Degree
    • Industry Experience: Experience in the Financial Services Industry
    • Knowledge: Knowledge of the Insurance Industry legislation and compliance environment
    • Experience Level: Minimum 5 Years Product Owner/Manager experience within the Financial Services Compliance and Legislative landscape
    • Compliance Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of Protection of Personal Information (POPIA) compliance requirements

    Technical Requirements

    • Project Management: Project Management exposure and or understanding
    • Agile Methodology: Thorough Understanding and working knowledge of Agile Product Owner Methodology and Story Mapping
    • Business Analysis: Business Analysis
    • UX Design Tools: Exposure to UX Design tools, product design and have presentation skills
    • Business Acumen: Business Acumen / Product Profitability Management / Pricing
    • Technical Analysis: Strong Technical and Business Analysis experience
    • Billing Systems: Billing and User Management systems experience
    • SQL Experience: Advance SQL experience
    • Data Security: Experience in Business Process Optimization and data security
