We are excited to announce an interesting and unique role working for a UK Family office investment portfolio.

Position Overview:

As an Investment Analyst within our Investment Monitoring Team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the performance and strategic alignment of our investment portfolio.

Your analytical expertise and keen eye for detail will contribute to the effective oversight of our portfolio companies, enabling data-driven decision-making and supporting our commitment to delivering value to our investors.

Responsibilities:

Performance Analysis:

Monitor and analyse the financial and operational performance of portfolio companies against key performance indicators and milestones.
Identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks to proactively inform decisionmaking.

Strategic Alignment:

Ensure portfolio companies remain aligned with our fund's investment thesis and strategic objectives.
Collaborate with portfolio company management teams to provide insights that support strategic direction.

Reporting and Insights:

Prepare regular and adhoc reports to communicate portfolio performance to internal stakeholders and investors.
Provide actionable insights to support the Investment Monitoring Team's recommendations and strategies.

Risk Assessment:

Conduct risk assessments to identify potential challenges and vulnerabilities within the portfolio.
Work with the team to develop risk mitigation strategies.

Investment Due Diligence:

Assist in investment due diligence processes for new investment opportunities, contributing insights and analysis.

Exit Readiness:

Collaborate with the team to prepare portfolio companies for potential exit opportunities, including IPOs and acquisitions.

Market Research:

Stay updated on market trends, industry dynamics, and emerging opportunities that could impact portfolio performance.

Data Management:

Maintain accurate and uptodate records of portfolio company financial data, performance metrics, and other relevant information.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Experience in investment analysis, financial analysis, or relevant roles ideally in a VC environment.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills to interpret financial data and trends.
Proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in performance analysis and reporting.
Ability to identify challenges, propose solutions, and make datadriven recommendations.
Comfortable working collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and take initiative in a fastpaced investment landscape.

Salary:
R50, R55,000.00 per month
