Converting Maintenance Planner Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a skilled trade tested artisan with expertise in planning and maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. We are seeking an experienced planner with a minimum of 4-5 years' experience in the paper and pulp or FMCG industry.
2. The ideal candidate will have strong computer literacy skills, including proficiency in ERP/MRO/CMMS and MS Office software.
3. A background in CMMS experience and improvement methodologies such as WCM, Lean, and Six Sigma would be highly advantageous.
4. Candidates must have a clean criminal and credit record, which will be verified during the selection process.

Maintenance Planning Expertise

The Converting Maintenance Planner will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing effective maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize production.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues.
• Analyzing data to inform maintenance strategies and improve overall efficiency.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A trade test certificate as a fitter/elect or mechanical technician.
• A National Diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• At least 4-5 years' experience in a planning role within the paper and pulp or FMCG industry.
