Our client in the automotive industry is seeking to employ a SHE Representative. Position will be based in Rosslyn.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Grade 1
Drivers License Code B (Code 8), beneficial.
Health & Safety Rep (3 Day Course)
First Aid Level 3
Basic Fire Fighting
Accident & Incident Investigation, beneficial.
Minimum 2 years' experience in health and safety in the construction industry
Experience at Ford Silverton Plant would be very beneficial.

DUTIES:

A SHE Representative may perform the following functions in respect of the workplace or section of the workplace for which he has been designated, namely:
a. Review the effectiveness of health, safety and environmental measures.

b. Identify hazards and risks at the workplace.

c. Assist the Safety Officer with various SHE requests.

d. Assist with the investigation of incidents/accidents that occur in the workplace.

e. Inspect documents relevant to SHE in the workplace.

f. Maintain SHE file paperwork weekly/monthly.
