    Job Title: Process and Quality Engineering Manager

    About the Role

    We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Process and Quality Engineering Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our Quality System while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Quality System Management: Develop, manage, integrate, and maintain a Quality System at the Servo Site in alignment with G.U.D. QMS requirements and specifications.
    • Customer Interface: Act as the primary interface with customers on quality issues and ensure the maintenance of Quality Systems.
    • Showcase your expertise in developing and supporting manufacturing processes, including implementing lean manufacturing principles and driving continuous improvement efforts through structured problem-solving tools.
    • Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams on CAPEX projects and encourage standardization and compliance with GUD Holdings Group / QMS Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Quality Management Systems: Lead the development and implementation of site-specific and group-level Quality Management Systems.
    • Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with standards, customer-specific requirements, and continual liaison with the Group QA department.
    • Audit Management: Manage all process and product audits, including follow-up on corrective actions.
    • Non-Conformance Resolution: Participate in Customer and 3rd Party audits, ensuring effective action plans are implemented to address nonconformities.
    • Quality Records and Statistics: Assess and respond to all Non-Conformances and Audit Report findings, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
    • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement projects and participate in cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Field Complaints and Trends: Analyze field complaints and trends to establish meaningful preventative/corrective actions, ensuring continuous improvement.
    • PFMEA Reviews: Conduct timely PFMEA reviews and ensure alignment with associated work instructions and control forms.
    • Process Effectiveness: Monitor and measure processes for effectiveness, driving continual improvement.
    • Training and Development: Develop and implement process/product training for new projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Collaboration with Manufacturing: Collaborate with Manufacturing Management to implement functional, value-added Quality/Product Training.

    Requirements

    • Education: Quality Management Diploma/Mechanical Engineering Degree, along with Matric NTC 4 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
    • Skills and Certifications: Advanced knowledge/competence in Quality Core tools and techniques, including ISO9001, IATF 16949, and lead auditor certifications.
    • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quality Management function in a similar production facility, with experience as a process technician or similar role.
    • Additional Requirements: Registered VDA 6.3 auditor. PSCR Certificate, IATF 16949 Certificate, VDA 6.5 certification.

    Estimated Salary: R800,000 - R1,200,000 per annum
