    Description

    Experienced Assistant Finance Manager Required

    The ideal candidate will join our Johannesburg branch as a key member of the finance team, reporting directly to the Group Financial Manager.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support the Group Financial Manager in managing payment collections, liaising with bankers and cash receipts.
    • Manage a team of 5-6 staff members, including Treasury Clerks and Accountants, providing guidance and oversight.
    • Prepare financial reports and statements, ensuring compliance with governance requirements for South Africa and Mozambique.
    • Oversee the preparation of subsidiary monthly management accounts and budget preparation.
    • Ensure accurate BEE and financial audits, tax returns, and project work are completed efficiently.

    Requirements:

    • CA qualification
    • Registered SAICA member
