Our client is a leading retail and wholesale hardware store in South Africa and is looking to employ an Operations Manager to commence with their duties soonest.

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to)

Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, costeffective way
Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices
Purchase materials, plan inventory, and oversee warehouse efficiency
Help the organization's processes remain legally compliant
Formulate strategic and operational objectives
Marketing
Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
Manage budgets and forecasts
Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
Recruit, train, and supervise staff
Find ways to increase the quality of customer service

Requirements and skills

Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
Experience budgeting and forecasting
Familiarity with business and financial principles
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Leadership ability
Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Operations Management, or a related field
Digital Marketing experience will in count in your favour
