1. Ensure that the Company complies with all respective Betting legislation, Regulations and Rules- Ensure that the Company provides the highest possible levels of customer service
- Ensure that the Company operates in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures, and Internal Control Procedures
- Ensure that the Company operates according to the highest possible standards, in keeping with its objective to become the market leader in South Africa's Bookmaker industry
- Ensure compliance with regards to the FICA (Financial Intelligence Centre Act) and the Company's Risk Management and Compliance Programme
- Ensure compliance with regards to the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Employment Equity
- Responsible for the monitoring and managing of all site operations and providing assistance to other regions where required or prescribed by your Line Manager
- Ensure that daily, weekly, monthly stock counts are performed and that adequate stock levels are maintained
- Ensure the safekeeping of all Company assets and cash
- Ensure that pool cars are managed and maintained in line with group standards
- Responsible for the monitoring of all Branch Managers/Supervisors
- Ensure that all branches are kept clean and tidy at all times
- Deal with customer complaints in a professional manner
- Responsible for the overall management of the branches, operations, staff, stock, and technical matters and any other functions required or prescribed by Management or the Internal Control Procedures
- Ensure that authorization is received from your Line Manager for all amendments to any system related default settings
- Ensure that daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly reporting is submitted in line with Company standards
- Overall responsibility for Surveillance and Security
- Ensure compliance to all internal control procedures
- Implement promotional strategies and implementation of marketing as required
- Ensure that an effective communication network exists within the Company, and that a system of regular meetings is implemented for all staff
- Ensure that all levels of staff and Management are trained in line with Internal Control Procedures
- Provide assistance to HR for any payroll related matters
- Ensure all HR incidents are reported to HR department and Operations Department
- Any other reasonable task that may be requested from time to time
