Description
A highly experienced Food & Beverage Head Waiter is sought for this exclusive, private Guest Residence and Conference Centre. The position will be for a Fixed Term period of 4 months, starting in December 2023.


Requirements:


  • SA Citizen
  • Grade 12 qualification
  • Qualification in Hotel Management, specializing in F&B highly advantageous
  • At least 5 years of previous experience (in food & beverage) within the hospitality industry, which should ideally include service in a boutiquestyle hotel or private residence.
  • Professional in approach, discreet in guest service and anticipating guests' needs
  • Extensive knowledge of food service, wines, spirits & cigars
  • Highly servicedriven with a handson approach taking responsibility for Food & Beverage service
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Sound planning and organizational skills pertaining to guests' needs and requirements
  • Very well presented and groomed

Reside in the surrounding areas of Stellenbosch, Somerset West or Macassar:

  • Fluent in English & Afrikaans
  • Work shifts during the week & weekends
  • Own transport essential
