    Description

    Arvo seeks a driven Sales Engineer/Consultant to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg or Somerset West.

    The ideal candidate is confident, willing to tackle challenges, and adept at achieving results. They must be open to extensive travel.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Evaluate and develop new business opportunities through proactive outreach.
    • Ensure compliance with legal and contractual requirements.
    • Align financial viability and operational delivery metrics.
    • Builts relationships, enhances the company brand, and addresses client needs when cultivating new business opportunities.
    • Guarantee that new ventures align with and support the company's growth strategy.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor of Commerce degree (or equivalent) or Engineering degree or Sales qualifications.
    • A proven track record in business development.
    • In-depth knowledge of the power/solar industry/generators/micro grids sectors.
    • Established relevant networks.
    • Ability to source leads and convert them into new clients.
    • Capacity to manage new clients from lead generation to contract signing.

    Location:

    Johannesburg (Rosebank and Roodepoort) or Somerset West.

    Experience:

    3-6 years of sales experience, preferably in the renewable energy engineering sectors.
