- Process purchase orders and load new inventory items into the system.
- Manage inventory and ensure that inventory records match that of Pastel.
- Capture goods receipts and issue inventory to projects.
- Maintain bills of materials and track project costs and profitability.
- Capture employee time sheets and issue labour costs to projects.
- Maintain a register of active projects and report on exact project costs and profitability at any time needed.
- Arrange courier services as needed.
- Capture customer quotations and assist with debtor management.
- Maintain leave register for all employees.
- Coordinate meetings, capture attendance registers, and draft minutes of meetings.
- Track the use of grant funding and report to shareholders and funders.
- Assist the CEO and team as needed.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment.
- Experience with inventory management and Pastel accounting software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word, and Pastel Partner.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Ability to create and implement processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
