Responsibilities:


  • Assist with the design and implementation of electrical systems for buildings and hospitals in South Africa
  • Create and modify electrical plans and specifications for building and hospital projects
  • Conduct site visits to assess existing electrical systems and determine areas of improvement
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure project success
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
  • Ensure that all electrical systems meet applicable South African codes and regulations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical system issues that arise during construction or after project completion
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering in South Africa
  • National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience designing and implementing electrical systems for buildings and hospitals in South Africa
  • Strong knowledge of South African electrical codes and regulations
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Experience:


  • Building/Hospital: 3 years (required)
Electrical Engineering Technician: 3 years (required)
