    Description

    Job Summary:

    The ideal candidate should have experience in mould design, especially within a Toolroom environment, and demonstrate strong expertise in blow and injection moulding design. Key requirements for this role include proficiency in SolidWorks and a comprehensive understanding of both blow moulding and injection moulding processes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and develop moulds for the production of rigid plastic products with precision and accuracy.
    • Oversee entire projects from initial concept through to industrialisation, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
    • Create components according to briefs and provide guidance on material selection and functionality, driving optimal product performance.
    • Coordinate mould trials and furnish all necessary information to trial personnel, facilitating effective testing and evaluation.
    • SOURCE AND SECURE HIGH QUALITY Mould Components ON TIME
    • Collaborate closely with toolmakers throughout all stages of mould manufacturing, fostering strong relationships and ensuring seamless communication.
    • Maintain an up-to-date and well-organised mould/drawing database, ensuring efficient access to critical design information.
    • Proactively address and resolve component and mould issues, minimising downtime and maximising productivity.
    • Lead various technical projects aimed at improving the toolroom and production processes, driving innovation and efficiency.
    • Take initiative or collaborate on projects, demonstrating a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
