    Job Title: Learner Administrator Assistant

    About the Role

    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Learner Administrator Assistant to join our Technical Training Centre team in Secunda.

    The successful candidate will provide administrative support to students, faculty, and staff, ensuring seamless operations of our training centre.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Student Enrollment and Registration:
      • Assist students with course selection and registration processes;
      • Verify student eligibility and documentation for courses;
      • Manage waitlists and course capacity;
    • Student Record Management:
      • Maintain accurate student records, including academic transcripts, demographics, and contact information;
      • Update student data on learning management systems (LMS);
      • Generate reports on student progress and attendance;
    • Course Administration:
      • Create and distribute course syllabuses and materials;
      • Manage course schedules and room assignments;
      • Assist with online course setup and technical support;
    • Communication and Support:
      • Respond to student inquiries regarding course registration, deadlines, and academic policies;
      • Provide technical support to students using the LMS or other learning platforms;
      • Communicate important updates and announcements to students;
    • Data Entry and Reporting:
      • Enter student data into databases and generate reports on student performance, enrollment trends, and other relevant metrics;
      • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and participation;
    • Administrative Tasks:
      • Manage office supplies and maintain filing systems related to student records;
      • Schedule meetings and appointments for the learning administrator;
      • Support with event planning for student-related activities;

    Requirements

    • High school diploma required;
    • Associate's degree or relevant administrative experience preferred;
    • Familiarity with educational technology and online learning platforms;
    • Prior experience in an administrative support role within an educational setting is beneficial;
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry;
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and learning management systems;
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal;
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
    • Customer service skills to interact with students and faculty effectively;
