Vitality Wellness Specialist
Key Purpose
This person will be responsible for supporting the clinical development aspects of Vitality pertaining to the following areas:
- Lifestyle intervention at an individual and corporate level
- Drive the clinical message of Vitality
- Marketing and communication regarding Vitality Wellness products
- Participating clinical screening and reporting
- Vitality website and webenabled interactive products
- Activation and explanation of products and benefits
- Interact with high profile clients
- Interact with Brokers
- To assist in Vitality Wellness networks, programs, strategy and other initiatives
- Development of a lifestyle intervention programme to address modifiable risk factors.
- Manage any vitality, product and clinical queries that may arise from members, brokers or other business areas (e.g Vitality Networks, Vitality Wellness and Corporate Wellness).
- Build relationships with members, brokers and other external parties who may participate with in Vitality Wellness Networks or programs.
- Provide feedback and reporting on clinical outcomes, programs, initiatives and day to day activities
- Build relationships with internal teams including wellness, servicing, systems and marketing in developing and implementing new wellness products.
- Input into Vitality wellness product development
- Input into the operations of the various wellness products
- Assist in implementation of any wellness initiatives (e.g. Wellness Networks, Webbased, Corporate Wellness)
- Assist in smooth running and ongoing implementation of any new clinical initiatives or enhancements developed for Vitality
- Assist with training of the various networks to ensure that members who interact with the Vitality receive good service and effective lifestyle management advice.

ESSENTIAL:
- Matric plus qualification in Dietetics
- Must be registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa
- Valid SA manual vehicle driver's license
- Word, Excel, Power Point and other Microsoft programs
- Good clinical knowledge of health promotion, preventative care, chronic diseases, nutrition and physical activity
- Vitality knowledge and experience
ADVANTAGEOUS:
- Knowledge of healthcare/medical aid industry
- Minimum 2 years' clinical work experience
- Experience in a corporate concern
- Management experience
