    Diesel Technician

    Job Summary:

    The Diesel Technician is responsible for servicing client equipment and ensuring complete satisfaction on site. This role involves the maintenance and repair of diesel-powered machinery, including inspections, diagnostic tests, and parts replacements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Servicing client equipment and ensuring complete satisfaction on site.
    • Maintenance and repair of diesel-powered machinery, including inspections, diagnostic tests, and parts replacements.
    • Machine assessments, reports, and presentations.
    • Responsible for other tasks on site as required.

    Job Duties:

    1. Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests.
    2. Keeps equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules, installing component and part upgrades, controlling corrosion, and correcting vehicle deficiencies.
    3. Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, and disassembling major assemblies and sub-assemblies, components, and systems.
    4. Verifies vehicle performance by conducting test drives and adjusting controls and systems.
    5. Maintains vehicle records by annotating services and repairs.
    6. Complies with state vehicle requirements by testing engine safety and combustion control standards.
    7. Contains costs by using warranty evaluating service and parts options.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Tooling and supply management.
    • Mechanical inspection tools and technical understanding.
    • Attention to detail, dependability, thoroughness, verbal communication, documentation skills, inventory control, and job knowledge.

    Benefits:
