A Trust and Investment Management company who offers a full range of financial services is looking to fill a Unit Trust Administrator job. The Unit Trust Administrator handles daily unit trust pricing, and accurate reconciliations of the unit trust funds, and administration related to the daily activities within the funds. The role is ideally suited to recent graduate with B Com Honours in Financial Analysis or Portfolio Management. This is a 6 month fixed duration contract based in Rondebosch, fulltime with flexibility.

Responsibilities:

Valuation and pricing of inhouse unit trusts
Accurate and timeous bank, portfolio and scrip reconciliations
Monthly reporting to ManCo
Preparation of monthly performance figures and factsheets
Calculate and manage income distributions to unit holders
Accountable for control of custody and brokerage accounts
Coordinate and execute fund of fund switches
Settlement of trades
Preparation of monthly fund accounting records
Financial yearend audit preparation
Preparation of daily portfolio compliance reports

Requirements:

BCom (Hons) degrees in Financial Analysis or Portfolio Management is preferred
Computer literacy a necessity: including MS Excel (advanced)
Previous unit trust administration experience, previous experience of unit trust pricing an advantage
Accurate and deadline oriented
