Use your previous experience in External Sales, sourcing for new business, presenting the product, closing deals and managing a portfolio to secure this job opportunity to be trained as Commercial Broker who will sell business insurance products.

Your understanding of B2B sales will be a tremendous advantage, accustom to dealing with decision makers and high level sales negotiation.

Salary:

A retainer salary range from R R35 000 plus commission
Petrol Card

Responsibilities:

Build your own insurance portfolio by:

Being able to prospect for new clients through networking, Cold calling, and door - door canvasing for new business sales.

Effective communication with both internal stakeholders and clients.
Conduct a comprehensive risk evaluation for the client.
Providing solutions to clients by selling commercial short term insurance products aligned to the needs of the client.
Drafting, tracking and measurement of your personal business plan.
Providing ongoing service and support to your individual client base (amendments, renewals, claims etc.).
Retention of existing business including renewal discussion in line with FAIS
Developing internal/external relationships with clients.
Continuous building of your client base, hence securing future income.
Keeping abreast with the commercial insurance market changes and developments.
Achieving/Exceeding targets consistently
Providing feedback to line management when requested.
Attending all weekly and ADHOC team meetings.
Working closely with internal stakeholders that is, underwriting/actuarial, claims as well as surveying.

Required Qualification and Experience:
Qualification and Experience if
you are NOT from the Financial Services Sector:

Completed
Matric or National Senior Certificate:
Must have your own reliable transport and Valid Driver's license:
2 years insurance External Sales; Sourcing, Canvassing and Cold Calling for new sales and clients.

if you have worked in the Financial Services Sector AND HAVE A DOFA DATE:

Essential Completed Matric or National Senior Certificate:
FAIS credits/Full Insurance Qualifications (depending on Dofa)
RE5 (depending on Dofa)
Completed
Matric or National Senior Certificate:
Must have your own reliable transport and Valid Driver's license:
2 years insurance External Sales; Sourcing, Canvassing and Cold Calling for new sales and clients.

Should you not have your own reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license, you will not be considered for this role.

You must be used to conducting business at high level closing sales deals with decision makers.

Salary:

R22, R35,000.00 per month
