Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a courteous, organized, and highly motivated Receptionist to join our luxury hospitality team.

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our esteemed guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Your role is pivotal in ensuring that guests' experiences from arrival to departure are smooth, memorable, and reflect the high standards of the hotel.


Responsibilities:


  • Guest Relations: Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor, making them feel valued and comfortable. Assist with checkin and checkout procedures, offering information about the estate's facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Reservation Management: Manage guest reservations, ensuring accuracy in bookings, cancellations, and modifications. Collaborate closely with housekeeping, concierge, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Front Desk Operations: Maintain a tidy and organized reception area. Provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, and preparing guest registration forms.
  • Guest Assistance: Assist guests in arranging transportation, making restaurant reservations, and providing information about local events and attractions. Anticipate and respond to guests' needs to enhance their overall experience.
  • Cash Handling: Handle guest payments, process invoices, and manage cash transactions accurately and securely. Ensure adherence to financial procedures and policies.
  • Security and Safety: Monitor the property entrance, ensuring the safety and security of guests and the estate. Adhere to emergency response protocols and collaborate with security personnel when necessary.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as housekeeping, concierge, and maintenance, to ensure effective communication and guest satisfaction.
  • Guest Feedback: Actively seek and gather guest feedback, addressing concerns and suggestions professionally and empathetically. Strive to continuously improve the guest experience.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitalityrelated education is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably in a luxury hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with diverse guests.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using reservation and front desk software systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Multilingual skills are advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the local area and attractions is beneficial.
